A handful of Ushahidi staff attend the HOT(Humanitarian OpenStreetMap) Summit between 14th and 15th September. This was the 3rd annual summit the organisation has hosted, bringing together members of the global OSM Community, technology and GIS enthusiasts working in the humanitarian space for two days of talks and engaging discussions on creating meaningful impact through mapping.

With just over four weeks left to the upcoming Kenyan General Election, we’re putting out a call for volunteers to join Uchaguzi digital response teams. Training will be conducted between 6th July and 31st July 2017. Physical training sessions will be hosted at the iHub Nairobi, and online training sessions for digital participants are also being scheduled.

Join the second Uchaguzi community working group meetup on Wednesday, 31st May 2017, at the South to South Lab, on the Ground Floor of Bishop Magua Building, between 5:00 p.m and 7:30 p.m.
