We're live at the Water Hackathon in NYC. You can follow along with our Scribble Live content. Public Laboratory (Grassroots Mapping), Pachube, Don't Flush Me and Ushahidi are partnered to hack on maps and sensors all weekend. The Ushahidi team (David, Dale and Heather) will be working on requirements and code to connect maps to sensors. If you are in NYC you are most welcome to join us. If you are on skype, we can connect you via our Ushahidi skype developer chat. (add heatherleson to join)
Ned Breslin of Water for People kicked off the Ignite session last night with a call to action for hackers and mappers. There were 8 ignite pitches for projects from spectrometers, sensors, map customization, water games, water quality testing to thermal fishing.
