The International Crisis Mappers Conference (ICCM), is October 11 - 14, 2012 in Washington DC. The unique event, co-founded by Patrick Meier and Jen Ziemke in 2009, provides a forum for humanitarian, human rights, development and media organizations with world's best technology companies, academics, journalists and hackers. Over 400 participants attended last year's event in Geneva.
ICCM unites the CrisisMappers Community for the annual event. The Crisis Mappers Network has an active mailing list as well as NING website full of videos and other valuable information. ICCM is hosted by the World Bank:Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery and George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs. Ushahidi proudly sponsors ICCM with ESRI, and GeoEye.
