Ushahidi v3.0.0-beta.10 is out!
Take it out for a spin on our demo site, but keep in mind that this is not ready for production, but we continue to get closer.
This is milestone 1 of 3 towards the first non-beta release! The next milestone release will be December 13th.
NOTE: Items marked with (f) are frontend changes. Items marked with (b) are backend changes.
What’s New?
- (f) A new web client is heavily under development
- The home page has been rebuilt, with new search controls
- We’ve also completed:-
- Authentication with the API
- Basic post creation with the API
- Post detail design
- Site settings design is currently in progress
- (f) Unit testing and end-to-end testing has been set up
- (f) Continuous integration can be seen at https://travis-ci.org/ushahidi/platform-client
What’s changed?
- (b) Several endpoints transitioned to new architecture:
- config
- forms
- form groups
- messages
- (b) The config endpoint now uses id instead of @group for consistency
- (b) Initial support for importing data with custom date formats has been added in
- (b) We’ve added in the following console tools:
- bin/ushahidi dataprovider for sending and receiving messages
- bin/tests for running the entire API test suite
